
Why a Welding Label?
It certifies, to professional clients, the confirmed welding expertise of our specialists: technical and commercial training, product innovation and quality, as well as the brands and services offered. It confirms to the end customer the high level of specialization and knowledge of our certified distributors.
SOCODA is an industrial member of the Welding Institute, and to support its high level of expertise, it provides its certified distributors with support from the Welding Institute through technical days and exchanges and feedback with key players in the sector.

Through a commitment charter for specialists, our certified distributors commit to providing their clients with all of their expertise:
- Listening and advising: Diagnosing needs to provide tailored advice from trained specialists.
- Expertise: Selection of equipment and consumables recognized as among the best brands.
- Service quality: Offering the best service with maximum availability and responsiveness for express delivery on-site as quickly as possible.
- Informing and guiding: Informing our clients about the specific regulations requiring certain equipment or product choices to ensure compliance with their projects. Our distributors provide the necessary certificates of conformity.
- After-sales service guarantee: A team of qualified technicians capable of handling all equipment repairs.
- Supporting development: Providing a fleet of welding equipment for short or long-term rental.
The “right solution” protection: Assisting in the training for the proper use of the personal and collective protective equipment necessary for welding applications.
How to become a certified distributor?
Each distributor can apply to be labeled “Welding Specialist” by submitting a request to their SOCODA contact. To obtain the label, several criteria are required. The label is awarded for a period of 2 years. During this period, the distributor actively maintains this expertise within their company by:
- Having a trained and dedicated specialist in welding;
- Achieving a significant level of activity in this specialty (Annual turnover > €500K);
- Mastering after-sales service, ideally integrated into the company;
- Regular training on welding equipment and processes provided by our partner suppliers and/or the Welding Institute, with which we have specific training agreements.

- Expertise: Selecting products and suppliers with the best pricing conditions while covering all needs. Our certified distributors also assist their clients in finding training opportunities and equipment maintenance.
- Service quality: Offering the best service with maximum availability and responsiveness for express delivery on-site in the shortest possible time.
- Quality guarantee: Providing a high-quality offering that balances safety, comfort, and design while combining technical innovations and evolving standards.
- Efficient logistics: Stock management ensuring the immediate availability of the most in-demand products.
How to become a certified distributor?
Each distributor can apply to be labeled “EPI Specialist.” To do so, they can submit a request to their SOCODA contact. They must meet several required criteria. The label is awarded for 2 years. During this period, the distributor actively maintains this expertise within their company by:
- Having a trained and dedicated specialist in EPI (Personal Protective Equipment);
- Achieving a significant level of activity in this specialty (Annual turnover > €500K);
- Regular training on products, changes in legal requirements, and exposed risks and standards, provided by our partner suppliers and/or SYNAMAP, with which the SOCODA Group has specific training agreements.
